At the Pre-school level classes are designed to help each child realize their own potential and provide a foundation for future learning. The Standards Based Curriculum provides for active growth and learning in four developmental areas:
Language development encourages practice listening, following directions, vocabulary and conversation.
Cognitive development activities include early literacy, songs, children's love of books, and independent reading.
Physical development activities include running, climbing, ball handling, cutting, lacing, coloring, and gluing.
Social and emotional development opportunities encourage children's confidence, self-esteem, sharing, caring and having friends.
