Learning is a way of life for DCIS students, both in and out of the classroom. We augment our academic program with special events during our school year. To fulfill a Ministry of Education requirement, all 12th grade students' nationwide work as a team to undertake a project called "Trabajo Educativo Social - TES". TES is an opportunity for our senior class to connect with the local community. Examples of past senior class experiences include, fund raising, teaching English to children in the public school system, helping the environment by planting trees and recycling , and assisting in nursing homes. The end result is an environment charged with energy and an opportunity where young people of diverse gifts and interests can each find a place outside of school to give to the needy of the community.
