The college application process at DelCampo International School begins early in the students ninth grade year. Participation in clubs, sports, the arts, and social service organizations is encouraged as students begin to develop personal profiles. Standardized test preparation begins in the tenth and eleventh grade years with the PSAT (Preparation for Standardized Assessment Test). This test gives students a realistic view of what they will experience when taking the actual SAT. Students are advised to take the first SAT test in May of their junior year. Workshops on the "Admission Essay" are also given during the student´s junior and senior year. Students follow an established timeline that serves as an organizational tool throughout the process. As students progress into their senior year they begin to accumulate all the documentation required for application.
